Psalms 30

Passage

This Psalm David wrote after dedicating the land for the new Temple as covered in 1 Chronicles 28. This dedication came after David realized what a great sin he committed against God. David had consequences fro his sin, and realized he needed to repent and return to God. This Psalm prises God for showing David his sin and providing a way to return.

Are we truly thankful when God shows us our sinful nature? Do we see that as an opportunity to draw closer to Him? We still have consequences, but we also know that God is there for us to guide and provide a way back when we go astray.
